Alif Traders

Alif Traders is located at Nana Peth 645. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded. We’ve been sitting here at 645 for a good number of years. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing business. We have our stock piled up and we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. We don’t have a website or a social media person. We just open the shutters and wait for the day to start. People come in looking for specific items and we do our best to find them. The streets of Nana Peth are always full of people and carts, so there’s never a dull moment outside. We aren't a big company with many branches, just this one spot. We talk to our neighbors and the other shop owners around here. It’s a community. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit difficult with the loading and unloading, but we deal with it. We don't use fancy language or try to sell people things they don't need. It’s just basic trading. We’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up while we’ve been working here. It’s a simple life and we’re happy with it. Just a regular business on a regular street in Pune. That is the story of Alif Traders at Nana Peth and how we spend our time every day.
