We operate out of Narayan Peth on Saki Vikar Road, right near the police chowki. It is a very busy corner of the street, and there is always something happening right outside our doors. Our workshop is usually full of bikes or cars in various states of being fixed or serviced. There is almost always some oil on the concrete floor and tools scattered across the old workbenches, which is just how a real garage looks when actual work is getting done. We spend most of our time bent over engines or checking tire pressure. It is greasy, dirty work, and we usually have black smudges on our clothes and hands by noon. We do not have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or coffee. If you come here, you will probably just stand near the entrance or sit on a plastic chair while we take a look at your engine. We handle all the basic stuff like oil changes and brake checks, but we also deal with engines that are making strange noises or won't start. It is often quite loud because of the passing traffic and the sound of metal wrenches hitting the floor. We have a lot of spare parts stacked up in the back, though it takes us a minute to find exactly what we need for a specific model sometimes. People know us because we are right behind the police station, so it is very easy to give directions. It is just a practical place for vehicle help.
