Balaji Automobiles

Balaji Automobiles is located over in Bhusari Colony, specifically at S. No. 78, P. No. 158/171. It’s pretty close to the Kothrud Depo off Paud Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the buses and traffic. Our shop is where we spend most of our time, usually covered in some kind of oil or dust from the cars. We have a lot of parts sitting around on shelves and tools scattered on the workbenches. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a garage, so that’s how it goes. People stop by when their car is making a weird noise or they just need a quick look at something under the hood. The guys here have been working on engines for a long time. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we work. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to wait for the delivery guy to show up. It’s just how it is. We try to be fair and just do the work that needs doing. If you're coming from the depot, it's just a short trip over. Most locals know where we are because we’ve been in this spot for quite a bit. There is always something to fix and we are usually here until late. The doors stay open most of the day.
