You can find Katkar Automobiles tucked away at 1201A/6 Ghole Road. We are right behind the Savera Hotel, just off F.C. Road. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don't know where to look, but that keeps the noise from the main road down a little bit. We spend our days working on cars, so our hands are usually greasy and the shop is full of spare parts and tools. It’s not a shiny showroom like the big ones. We deal with all sorts of mechanical issues and regular servicing. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have three or four cars in at the same time. We’ve been here behind the hotel for a long time now. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We don't do much advertising because the word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and we have to call the owner to explain why. That's just how it goes with old engines. We try to be honest about what needs fixing and what can wait. If you are looking for us, just turn off F.C. Road onto Ghole Road and look for the path behind the Savera. We are usually there from the morning until we finish the last car of the day. It’s hard work, but we enjoy it and we're good at what we do.
