Alankar Mini Market

Alankar Mini Market is our little shop over in Sadashiv Peth at 2163/1. It’s been in the family for a bit and we just keep it going day by day without much fuss. We open up pretty early because people around here need their milk and bread before they head out to work or school. The space isn't huge, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make everything fit in. Sometimes it's a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are in the aisle at once, but everyone is used to it. We carry the usual stuff, like grains, soap, snacks, and whatever else the neighbors ask for. If we don't have something specific, we try to get it in the next delivery from the city. The street outside is always noisy, which is just part of living in Sadashiv Peth. We spend a lot of time checking dates on packages and making sure the fridge is running cold for the drinks. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for customers, then suddenly everyone comes in at once. We don't have any fancy displays or anything polished. Just plain shelves and a counter where we keep the change. It's a simple way to make a living and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. If the weather is bad, it gets quiet, but there's always someone popping in.
