Aksay Pan Shop

Aksay Pan Shop is another one of those small spots in Wagholi. It’s a busy place with lots of people moving around, especially near the main road. Our shop is just a simple setup with a counter and some shelves. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just the jars of ingredients and the stack of leaves we use every day. The heat in Wagholi can be pretty bad, so we try to keep the shop as cool as possible with a small table fan. We spend our mornings getting the mixtures ready and making sure we have enough change in the till. There is always a lot of noise from the trucks and cars outside, so we have to speak up when we talk to customers. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with more buildings going up all the time. Our shop stays pretty much the same though. We have our routine and we stick to it. The jars are lined up on the shelf and we know exactly where everything is without having to think about it. It’s a small living but it keeps us busy. We don’t have any fancy marketing or big plans, we just want to keep the shop running and help the people who stop by. If you’re in Wagholi, you’ll find us easily enough. We usually keep a big jug of water behind the counter for ourselves.
