Akash Communication

Being out on Airport Road means we see a lot of people who are just passing through on their way somewhere else. Akash Communication is a small shop where we handle all sorts of phone and data needs for the folks around here. The sound of the planes taking off is something you just get used to after a few days of working on Airport Road. We get a lot of travelers who realized they forgot their charger or need a local card so they can call home without spending too much money. The shop is often a bit dusty because of all the construction and traffic on the road outside but we try to keep the counters clean. We have a small bench outside where people can sit while they wait for their recharges to go through or for their bus to arrive. It is not a very fancy place and we mostly just have the essentials on the shelves behind the glass. The air can get a bit thick with exhaust fumes during the rush hour but we keep the door open to let the breeze in when it’s not too bad. We've been in this spot for a while now and we know the rhythms of the road pretty well. It’s just us doing our thing and helping people stay connected while they are on the move. We don't mind the long hours as long as the work keeps coming.
