Ajinkya Hotel

This place is situated on Prabhat Road in Pune, which is one of those older, quieter parts of the city. We have been here for a long time now, and the building shows its age a bit, but that's just part of the charm I guess. Most of our regulars are people who live right around the corner or students from the nearby colleges. It’s not a huge place, just a simple room with some tables where people can sit and have their tea or a quick snack. In the mornings, it's usually quiet with just the sound of the newspapers and people talking softly. By lunch, it picks up a bit. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the usual things that people like to eat every day. The street outside has a lot of trees, so it stays relatively cool even in the summer. We don't use a lot of big signs or bright lights to get attention. Most people just know we are here because they have been walking past us for years. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We know how people like their tea and which table is someone's favorite. It’s a very local way of doing things. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them late at night after the last customer leaves. It’s just how we have always run things here on this street.
