Aishwarya Cateres

Aishwarya Cateres is based out of Nandanam at S No 24 in Ganesh Nagar, Bopkhel. It’s a quiet enough spot near the C M E Post in Dapodi, which helps when we’re trying to focus on our work. We aren't trying to be the biggest catering firm in the city or anything like that. We’re just a small group of folks who enjoy the process of putting a meal together. The kitchen is where we spend almost all our time. Usually, you’ll find us arguing over a recipe or making sure the packing is done just right. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a big office with a mahogany desk; our office is usually a clipboard on a kitchen counter. The area around Ganesh Nagar has changed a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit of a challenge with the roads being what they are, but we usually figure it out. We don’t put out many flyers or put up huge signs. Most of the people we work for are folks from around the neighborhood or those who have known us for years. It’s about doing the work and making sure the lids are on tight before the vans pull out. It’s not always glamorous, and there’s a lot of cleaning up to do at the end of the day, but we like it this way. It feels real.
