We are based out of Ashwini Paradise on the Bibvewadi Kondhwa Road. Most people know Gagan Galaxy nearby, so that’s usually how we give directions. Our shop is at number 18. It’s a decent-sized space where we handle different IT issues for people in the neighborhood. Some days are packed with people bringing in laptops that won’t start, and other days we are out visiting offices to fix their servers. The road outside is always busy with traffic heading towards Kondhwa. We have a couple of workbenches in the back for the more complicated repairs. It can get messy with all the wires and screwdrivers lying around. We’ve been here in Bibvewadi for a good amount of time. The team is small, just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. We don’t really do big advertising; people just find us through word of mouth or by walking past the shop. It’s a practical way to run things. We try to be clear about how long a repair will take, though sometimes parts take a while to arrive. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. No big corporate rules, just us doing the work and helping out whoever walks through the door. It’s a simple life in a busy part of Pune, and it keeps us on our toes through the long afternoons when the sun is out.
