Agarawal Provision Store

Agarawal Provision Store is our little shop over in Vidya Nagar 1st Cross. We've been sitting here on the 2nd Main in Akshaya Nagar for quite some time now. It’s not a very big place, but we try to keep the shelves packed with the things people actually use every day. You’ll find the usual stuff like different kinds of rice, dals, and cooking oils. It usually gets pretty hectic in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their shopping done before heading to work. I generally open up the shutters early to catch the early birds. The floor is a bit old and has some stains here and there, but we keep it swept. My son helps me out on the weekends when he isn't busy with his own things. We try to listen to what the neighbors want. If several people ask for a specific brand of biscuits or a certain type of tea, I’ll try to pick it up the next time I head to the wholesale market. The shelves are a bit crowded, and sometimes you have to look twice to find exactly what you’re after. It’s just a neighborhood spot where you can grab a packet of salt or some sugar without a big fuss. We’ve watched the local kids grow up over the years. It’s nice to see the same faces every day. We just keep the doors open and do our best to stay stocked up.
