DP Road has become a lot more crowded over the last few years with all the new shops and cafes. Our building is set back a little bit from the main noise of the street. It’s a decent-sized plot. We have a reception area that gets a lot of natural light in the morning. The floor is that speckled terrazzo that you see in a lot of older buildings around Aundh. It’s easy to wash, which is good because people track in a lot of dust from the road. We have a small staff, and we all know each other well. The daily routine is pretty much the same: open up, check the rooms, and wait for the first people to arrive. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps during our break if the weather isn't too hot.
