Our office is situated on the second floor of the Shankar Rao More Society building, which is on Plot No 12 in Karve Nagar. It is a local neighborhood in Pune, not too far from the Auto Scan shop that everyone knows. We have been here for a good number of years now. The space is simple and utilitarian, with a few rooms where we have set up our computers and workstations. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs to the second floor, but it is good exercise. We have a small crew working here every day, mostly focusing on technical development and some back-end stuff. The office doesn't have any fancy glass walls or modern art; it is mostly just practical furniture and a lot of technical gear. We have a small area where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for tea time. Most of the people here have been with us for a long time, so it feels like a small family. We don't really go in for any corporate slogans or big meetings. We just sit down, do what needs to be done, and then head home. The area around Karve Nagar is nice and has a lot of local shops where we go for lunch. It is a very normal, unassuming place to work. We like it here because it is quiet enough to think and close enough to everything we need.
