We work out of Poonam Apartments in Kothrud, specifically in Ideal Colony. It is a residential area, so it is actually quite peaceful compared to the main roads in Pune. Our office is in flat 104 on the A wing. It is basically a converted apartment where we have set up our workstations and servers. We have been here on Plot 25 for a good while now. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down and just focus on our coding and engineering work. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner has stayed pretty much the same. We usually have lunch together in the small kitchen area. There is no big reception desk or anything like that; you just walk in and see us at our desks. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It is a simple setup because we don't need much more than a good internet connection and a place to sit. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we have a local feel to the way we run things. We do a lot of technical projects that keep us busy from morning until evening. It is not a flashy place, just a regular apartment where some serious work gets done. We like the trees around the colony, they keep it a bit cooler.
