Aditya Hospital

You can find our hospital at No. 1515 on the Old Pune Nagar Road. We are right across from the Indira Gandhi statue in Shirur Shirur. It is a well-known landmark, so most people don't have a hard time finding us. The road outside can get quite dusty and loud, especially with the trucks going by, but once you are inside, it’s much calmer. We have been operating here in Shirur for a long time. The building is functional and we use every bit of space we have to accommodate the people who come to see us. We have the usual hospital rooms and a small area for the pharmacy. It’s not a huge place, but we manage to help quite a few people every day. The staff here works long shifts and we all know each other well. We aren't interested in being the biggest or the fanciest hospital around. We just want to make sure the people in Shirur have a place to go when they need a doctor. Sometimes we run out of chairs in the waiting room on Monday mornings, but we try to bring extra stools out if we can. It’s a simple operation where we just focus on the basics. We are here every day, doing what needs to be done to keep the place running and help the patients who walk in. The local folks know us by name and we know many of them too, which makes the work feel a bit more personal than in a big city hospital.
