Acpl

Our place, Acpl, is situated at 33/7 in the Vastu Udyog area of Pimpri. It is very much an industrial neighborhood, so you see a lot of sheds and small manufacturing units all around us. The building we are in is quite sturdy, though the floor is concrete and has a few cracks here and there from moving heavy things around over the years. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name painted near the door. Inside, the ceiling is high which helps keep it from getting too stuffy, but in the summer, it still feels like an oven. We have some work benches and a few chairs that have seen better days. Most of the time, the air is filled with the sound of machines from the neighbors or the delivery trucks backing up into the narrow driveway. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you aren't familiar with Pimpri, but once you get here, it is pretty straightforward. We don't really have a fancy office for meetings, so we usually just talk to people right where the work is happening. The light bulbs inside are a bit dim, so we keep the big shutters open most of the day to let the sun in. We keep our tools and supplies on metal racks that go all the way to the ceiling. It is a practical work environment for us.
