Acidwala Zahid

My name is Acidwala Zahid and I work out of my place at Wanowrie Vivek Nagar I/66. It’s not a formal office in the way most people think of them. It’s a room I’ve converted into a workspace, filled with all the books and tools I’ve collected over the years. Wanowrie is a comfortable area to live and work in. It’s mostly quiet, which helps when I have to concentrate on a difficult project. I’ve been in Vivek Nagar for a long time, so I know most of my neighbors and they know what I do. People often just knock on the door if they have a question or need something looked at. I handle almost everything myself, from the initial sketches to the final paperwork. My desk is usually a mountain of notes, pens, and technical manuals. I don't really bother with trying to look corporate or polished. I just want to do a good job for the people who hire me. Sometimes the work is slow and I spend a lot of time just thinking, and other times it’s so busy I forget to eat lunch. I like the independence of working this way. Most of my clients are local residents who want to talk to someone who understands the area. It’s a simple life and a simple business. I don't have any big plans to expand; I’m happy just keeping things at this scale and doing my work properly every day.
