Aaiji Super Shop

Aaiji Super Shop is located right in the middle of Bhosarigoan. We picked this spot because it's convenient for all the families living nearby. It is a family-run business, so you will almost always find one of us sitting at the front near the entrance. We sell a variety of items, ranging from chips and cold drinks to various types of pulses, rice, and grains. Our shelves go quite high up to the ceiling, so we keep a small wooden stool handy to reach the items on the top. Sometimes the shop gets a bit cluttered when a fresh shipment of flour or oil arrives, but we try to move the heavy bags to the storage area as quickly as we can. We get a lot of people stopping by just for their daily milk or a quick snack on their way home. Life here is pretty basic and unhurried. We don't use much in the way of modern technology, just a simple calculator and a handwritten ledger to keep track of things. The people in Bhosarigoan are friendly, and it’s common for neighbors to stay for a few minutes just to talk before heading out. We try to keep the place organized, but it’s a small space and things can get a bit messy by the end of a long day. Every morning we sweep up and start again. It’s just our way of making a living and serving the local neighborhood as best as we can.
