Aaiji Super Shoopee

Aaiji Super Shoopee is located at Shop Number 6 in Nina Terrace on Synagogue Street. This is over in the Camp area of Pune, right across from Gita Society. Camp is a bit of a melting pot, so we get all kinds of people coming into the shop. We keep a variety of things because everyone’s tastes are a bit different here. We have got snacks, drinks, toiletries, and the usual grocery items packed into the shelves. The space in Nina Terrace is okay, but we always seem to have more stuff than we have room for. You will often see boxes stacked near the entrance when a new shipment comes in. Synagogue Street can get quite crowded with parked cars and people walking to the nearby offices or shops. We open up early and usually stay open until quite late in the evening. It is mostly just us handling the customers, stocking the shelves, and doing the accounts in a notebook at the end of the day. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a straightforward place where you can grab what you need. Sometimes the electricity goes out and it gets a bit dark inside, but we keep going. The neighbors from Gita Society are our main regulars, and we've gotten used to their daily routines. It is a busy life, but it is what we do here in Camp.
