Aadim Birsa Munda Kisan Private Limited

Our place is out in Junnar, specifically in the village of Pur-Kukadeshwar. We are based at House Number 39. It is a long way from the city noise of Pune. Aadim Birsa Munda Kisan is a private limited company, but out here, it’s mostly about being part of the farming community. We work closely with the local kisans. The office is really just a room in a house. We have some wooden chairs and a big table where we sit and talk for hours. Most of the people who come by are neighbors or farmers from the nearby fields. We named the company after Birsa Munda because we respect the history of our people. The roads around here can be quite rough, especially when it rains, so we do a lot of walking. We don't have high-speed internet or fancy gadgets. We use a lot of handwritten notebooks to keep track of things. Life moves a bit slower in Junnar. We talk about the rain, the soil, and how the crops are doing this year. It’s not a business with a polished image. We often have dirt on our boots and spend more time in the sun than in the office. We just want to make sure the farmers get what they need.
