Aaa Designs

We've been at Ashoka Centre 42/8 for a while now. Aaa Designs started because we just liked making things look better and more functional for people in the neighborhood. It’s a small office, nothing too fancy, but we get the work done. Usually, it's just a few of us here sketching and looking over plans. People drop by sometimes to talk about their ideas, and we listen. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with renovations or new builds is stressful enough without a lot of technical talk. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks, or the files get a bit disorganized, but that’s just how it goes in a real workplace. We handle all sorts of design tasks. If you walk past the Ashoka Centre, you'll see our sign. It's not a huge firm with hundreds of people. It is just a handful of us who know how to draw and plan. We don't have a big secretary out front, so if you call, you’ll probably just talk to whoever isn't holding a ruler at that moment. We've seen the area change a lot over the years. We like being part of the local scene here. It’s mostly about solving practical problems with layouts and making sure things fit right. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just sit down, look at the space, and figure out what makes sense for the person using it.
