Out on the Fulgaon Link Road in Malad West, you can find A One Mobile Shopee. We are located in a spot where the traffic from the Link Road is always humming in the background. The shop is filled with all sorts of accessories, from colorful phone cases to screen protectors that we spend a lot of time trying to apply without getting any bubbles underneath. It’s a tricky job and requires a lot of patience. We have a lot of local regulars who drop by just to recharge their talk time or ask about the latest models. The space inside is quite narrow, so if four customers come in at once, it feels very crowded. We have a small stool in the corner where we sit when things are quiet, which isn't very often. The humidity in Malad can be tough, so we usually have a small fan blowing right on us. We aren't a corporate store with uniforms; we just wear our regular clothes and talk to people like they are our neighbors, because mostly, they are. Sometimes we have to deal with people who are upset because their phone fell in water, and we have to be honest about whether it can be saved or not. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show what we have on the shelves and let people decide for themselves. The shop at Fulgaon Link Road has been our daily life for quite some time now.
