You can find us at 275 Mission Street, which is right near the Cathedral Church in the MG Road area. It’s a very old part of town, and the streets are quite narrow and crowded. Being so close to the church means we hear the bells ringing throughout the day. It’s a sound we’ve all gotten used to over the years. The school is an old building with a lot of history in its walls. It isn't always the easiest place to maintain. Sometimes a pipe leaks or a window won't shut right, and we have to get someone in to fix it. Because it’s a girls' school, there’s a certain atmosphere here. It’s often loud with singing or just general talking during the lunch breaks. We have a small courtyard where everyone gathers. It’s not a huge space, but it’s ours. The MG Road area is always buzzing with people shopping or going to work, so the minute you step out our front door, you’re right in the middle of everything. We have students who come from all over this part of the city. Some walk, some take the bus. We spend our days making sure the classes happen on time and that the girls are where they should be. It’s a busy life, and the hours go by fast. We don’t do things in a fancy way, we just keep the place running day after day for the students.
