Bebe Kidz Day Care & Play School

Bebe Kidz Day Care & Play School is situated at No 9, Balaji Nagar Main Road Extension in Saram, Pondicherry. Being a play school and day care, it’s a very different kind of environment compared to a regular school. There are always toys scattered around and the sound of children playing or sometimes crying. We have set up the rooms with colorful mats and small chairs that fit the little ones perfectly. The address in Saram is quite easy to find, and we have parents dropping off their toddlers early in the morning before they head to work. It’s a lot of responsibility looking after small children. We spend our day feeding them, helping them with their naps, and teaching them basic things like rhymes and numbers. The walls have some drawings pinned up that the kids made themselves. It’s not a perfectly silent place, and it shouldn't be. We have a small outdoor area where they can run around for a bit if the weather in Pondicherry isn't too humid. The staff here are mostly local women who have a lot of patience for the job. We don’t use any corporate jargon; we just talk to the parents about how their child ate or if they slept well. It’s a very grounded, practical sort of work. We try to keep things organized, but with kids, there is always a bit of a mess to clean up.
