Our place is on Melandai Street over in Villianur. If you are in Pondicherry and looking for Nila Tutorial & Tuition Centre, you just have to look for the spot opposite the SBI. The 605110 area is where we have set up our rooms. It is a fairly simple arrangement. We have been on Melandai Street for a bit, and most people around here recognize the building. It is just a tuition centre, nothing more and nothing less. We have chairs for the kids and a few desks for the teachers to sit at. Being right across from the bank means it is easy to tell people where to go when they are coming for the first time. The street can be a bit narrow, but that is just how things are in this part of Villianur. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is more like a second home for us. We spend our afternoons and evenings here, making sure the lights are on and the books are ready. Sometimes it gets a bit humid, but we have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through Melandai Street. It is a local operation, and we know many of the families who live nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every single day. There is usually a pile of old exam papers on the shelf and some chalk dust on the floor by the end of the day. It is quiet when the kids are working, but it gets loud when they leave.
