Kalki Educational Institute

Kalki Educational Institute is on the second floor of a building on Eswaran Koil Street. You’ll find us right near Anna Salai, which is usually quite a busy part of Pondicherry. We’ve been here for a while now, just helping out local students who need a bit of extra help with their subjects after their regular school hours are done. It’s not a very big place, just a few rooms where we sit down and go through textbooks together. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the traffic outside is heavy, but the students don't seem to mind much once they get started on their work. We usually open up in the afternoons. Most of the people who come to us live around the town area, so they just walk or take a cycle over. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We have some benches and desks set up for the different age groups. It's mostly just straightforward teaching, nothing too fancy or complicated. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the papers pile up on the main desk. If you’re looking for the spot, just look for the sign near the temple street. We aren't hard to find once you get to the right corner. It's just a regular place where learning happens every day without too much fuss or unnecessary bother for the parents or the kids.
