Shakti Coaching Institute

Shakti Coaching Institute is located at 102-A on Thornhill Road in George Town. We are right across from St. Anthony Girls Inter College, so that is the easiest way to tell people how to find us. Allahabad has a lot of these busy roads, and Thornhill is definitely one of the noisier ones. The building we are in is an older one. It has high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of light, though we usually keep the curtains pulled because the afternoon sun is too bright. We have several rooms for our activities. The furniture is mostly heavy wood and has been used for many years. It has that lived-in feel. We are not trying to impress anyone with expensive decor or modern art. We just want a place that is functional for the staff and the visitors. We spend our days managing the schedules and talking to the families who come by. There is always someone coming or going at the gate. We have a small porch area where people wait sometimes when it rains. The staff is just a few local people who know this neighborhood very well. We often go out to the local tea stall during our short breaks. It is a very simple, everyday kind of operation. No corporate polish here, just some people working in an old building in a busy part of town.
