The Success Centre

Down in Chhatnag, we opened The Success Centre to give local kids and adults a place to study and pick up some extra skills. It is not a very big town, so everyone knows where we are. We took over an old building and put in some desks and a few whiteboards. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the birds outside and the occasional tractor passing by. It is a very quiet place compared to the city, which helps people focus. We do not have any high-tech gadgets or expensive furniture. It is mostly just donated books and some basic computers we have fixed up over the years. The staff consists of a few of us who live nearby and wanted to help out. We spend our evenings here helping people with their reading or math. Sometimes we just sit and talk about life or help someone fill out an application. There is a big tree in the front where people hang out after they are done inside. We do not have a website or a marketing person. Most people find us by word of mouth or by just walking past. It is a humble setup, but it is ours. We usually have some tea going on the small stove in the corner. It is just a community spot where folks come to better themselves without any pressure or high fees.
