Trishul Defence Academy

Our place is located at 18A Muir Road in the Katra area of Allahabad. It’s a very well-known part of town, especially being so close to Manmohan Park. The building is an older one, like many in this part of the city, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a bit cooler. We have a fair amount of space here for the students who come to train. There’s a bit of a yard out front where things get organized in the mornings. Inside, the rooms are fairly plain, mostly just benches and a few boards for writing. We don't have any fancy carpets or soft chairs; it's all very functional and basic. You can hear the sounds of the city from the windows, but once we get started, we don't notice it much. I spend a lot of time just making sure the schedules are pinned up correctly and the registers are updated. Allahabad gets very hot in May and June, so we have plenty of fans going at all times. The atmosphere is quite serious because of the kind of work we do here. Most people who come to us are very focused. It’s a no-nonsense type of place. We open early and usually don't close the gates until late in the evening when the sun has gone down and the park nearby is quiet.
