You will find us at 11/53 Muri Road in the Rajapur area of Allahabad. We are right opposite Zaika, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. The street is usually lined with bikes and cycles belonging to the people coming in for classes. Our space is fairly straightforward. We have a few rooms dedicated to teaching and a small front area where people can sit and wait. The building is an older one, so the ceilings are high. We have some shelves filled with books and old notes that have piled up over the months. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait a bit or use the backup. It's just part of living and working in Rajapur. The sound of the traffic on Muri Road is a constant background noise. We start the day by sweeping the floors and cleaning the chalkboards. We don't have a lot of staff, so we end up doing most of the chores ourselves. It keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. Often, the smell of food from the restaurant across the street drifts in, which makes everyone hungry toward the end of the day. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a big heavy wooden table in the main room. It's a practical setup that works for what we do. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure the rooms are ready for the next group.
