Private Teacher

I am set up right in front of the Aakash Coaching building in Allahabad City. It is a very busy spot because of all the students going in and out of that big center across the road. My place is much smaller and a lot simpler. It is just me doing my work as a private teacher. I do not have a big staff or a fancy office with a lot of rooms. Most people find me because they are already in the area for the bigger schools and they need some extra help. I have a few tables and some chairs for when people come by. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes if three or four people are here at once. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to the horns and the people talking outside. I usually have a stack of books and old test papers lying around on every flat surface. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but I know exactly where everything is. I start my day when the first batch of students arrives and I usually do not leave until it is dark outside. It is a lot of hours, but I like the work. I do not even have a big sign out front, just enough for people to know I am there. I get my tea from the vendor near the gate. We talk about the weather or the local news.
