Neeti Classes

Being right opposite the Allahabad University library makes things interesting here at Neeti Classes. We are located at 31-D on Bunda Road, and there is always a crowd of students walking back and forth. You can hear the cycles and the chatter from the street all day long. The building is an old one, typical for this part of Allahabad, and we’ve tried to make the inside comfortable enough for studying. It gets quite hot in the summer months, so the fans are always going full speed. We don’t really do much advertising because being so close to the university means people just see our sign when they are heading to class or the library. The rooms are filled with old desks and whiteboards that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend a lot of time organizing notes and helping out whoever walks through the door. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that. It feels more like a place where you can just sit down and get to work. Sometimes the chai wala from down the street brings over a tray of tea for everyone. It’s just how things go here. We know most of the regulars by name now. If the library is too full, sometimes students just hang out here for a bit. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve grown to like. We keep the books stacked neatly, but they always end up in a mess by the end of the day.
