We have been operating out of Gandhi Market here in Port Blair for a while now. It’s a busy spot, always something going on with the shops and people moving around. Visit2Andaman.Com isn't some big fancy office; it’s just us working together to help folks see the islands. Living here in the 744101 area means we know the shortcuts and which days the ferries get crowded. Sometimes the internet is slow or the rain comes down hard, but that’s just life in the Andamans. We mostly spend our time on the phone or talking to drivers to make sure everything is lined up. It’s not always easy running a travel business from a market stall, but we like the energy. You see a lot of different faces every day. We don’t have any slick brochures or anything like that. Usually, people just find us or hear about us from someone else. It’s a small community here. We grew up around these waters, so we know where the fish are and which beaches are actually quiet on a Sunday. Mostly, we just try to be honest about what’s possible and what isn’t. If the weather is bad, we tell you. That's just how we do things at Gandhi Market. It's a simple life, really, just making sure people get from one island to the next without too much trouble. We're usually around the office until late evening if anyone needs to drop by.
