Our little office is located over in Prothrapur. It is a bit of a distance from the main tourist hubs of Port Blair, which we actually prefer. It is a bit quieter out here and feels more like the real Andaman. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves. We grew up on these islands and know the roads like the back of our hands. We mostly help people with airport transfers and driving them around to see the local sights. It is a very basic setup we have here. My cousin helps me with the bookings and we have a couple of friends who drive the cars. We are not a big agency with glossy brochures. We just have our notebooks and our phones. A lot of our day is spent calling around to check if the boats are running on time or if the weather is going to stay clear. Life in the islands moves at its own pace, and we do the same. When people come to visit us, we just sit and talk about what they want to see. We do not have any hidden fees or complicated packages. We just tell you what it costs and how long it takes. We have been in the same spot for quite a while, so the neighbors all know us. If we are not in the office, we are probably out on a run.
