Saro Tour & Travels

Saro Tour & Travels is situated in Shop No. 1 at the Municipal Market on Seashore Road. If you know Port Blair, we are right opposite the government petrol bunk. It’s a handy spot in the 744101 area because people are always stopping for fuel anyway. Our shop in the Municipal Market is small, but it serves us well. We’ve been running Saro Tour & Travels from this location for quite some time. It’s a bit of a loud area with all the cars and bikes going past, but that’s just Seashore Road for you. We don’t have fancy furniture or a coffee machine for guests, just some plastic chairs and a lot of local knowledge. Most of the time, we are busy checking on drivers or talking to the ferry office. We don't like using big words to describe what we do. We just arrange travel. Some days the weather is great and everything goes perfectly, and other days we’re dealing with rain and cancellations. We just take it as it comes. Being right by the petrol bunk means we see a lot of the local drivers every day. We’ve built up a decent little business here just by showing up and doing the work. It’s a simple life in Port Blair, and we’re happy to be part of it. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
