Our place is located right on the ATR Main Road in Bathu Basthi. It is a very busy part of Port Blair because all the traffic heading out of town goes right past our door. We are based in the Garacharama area. It is a very practical place for a travel business because we see everything that is happening on the roads. We have lived in the Andaman Islands all our lives, so we really do not need a map to know where things are. Our office is a bit on the small side and it can get a little crowded when we have several people visiting at once. We do not have a fancy reception desk or people in uniforms. Usually, you will just find me or one of my brothers sitting here working. We keep all our bookings in big notebooks because that is what we are used to. We know which drivers are reliable and which parts of the island are worth seeing. We try to be very straightforward with everyone. If a certain trip is going to be too long or tiring, we will tell you. We are not interested in selling you things you do not need. We just want to make sure you get to your destination safely and without any unnecessary stress. It is honest work that keeps us busy throughout the year. We are just local people doing our job.
