Chalo Jai Andaman Travels

We operate out of a small place at No. 28 on 2 Km Road in Prem Nagar. Chalo Jai Andaman Travels is what we call our little business. We spend our days talking about the islands and helping people figure out how to get there. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking boat schedules. Prem Nagar is a decent spot to be based, and we’ve become quite familiar with everyone around here. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have some posters of the beach on the walls and a couple of old desks that have seen better days. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes booking things a bit difficult, but we manage somehow. We aren't some giant travel corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just us, working hard to make sure people have their tickets and plans sorted out. We know the Andaman Islands pretty well because we deal with them every single day. We try to be honest about what to expect when traveling out there. If a boat is likely to be late or if the weather looks bad, we tell people. We don't like to sugarcoat things because it's better if people know the reality of travel. We have a lot of regular customers who come back to us because they know we're just normal folks trying to do a good job. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, but we like seeing people get excited about their trips. It keeps things interesting for us.
