Our place, Shalom Andaman Holidayz, is situated in Dollygunj. If you know the area, we are right near the Mariamman Temple. It's a landmark everyone around here knows. We started this because we live in Dollygunj and saw so many people needing help with their trips. It’s a local operation, nothing too big. Most days we are just sitting in the office checking the boat schedules or talking to guests about their plans for the next day. The temple nearby gets quite busy during festivals, which makes the road a bit crowded, but it's a nice atmosphere. We try to keep things simple. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms. We’re just local people who know the islands. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, so we have to do things the old-fashioned way. We help with booking stays and getting taxis sorted out. People who come to Dollygunj usually want to see the sights without spending a fortune. We know which spots have the best views and which ones are too crowded with tourists. It's mostly about being honest about what to expect. If the sea is rough, we’ll tell you. If a place isn't great right now, we’ll say so. It’s just how we do things near the temple. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay. There is always plenty to do.
