Our head office is on the first floor of Firdos Manzil, which is right in the heart of Aberdeen Bazaar. We are very close to the Clock Tower, which is probably the most famous landmark in Port Blair. Being in the bazaar means it is always noisy and there are people everywhere, but it’s very convenient for our work. The office itself is just a regular workspace with some desks and computers. We aren't trying to look like a high-end corporate office. We deal with a lot of the logistical side of island travel from here. That means we are constantly checking ferry timings and talking to the forest department about permits. It’s a lot of administrative work that people don't really see. Since we are on the first floor, we can look down at the street and see the daily rush of the market. We have a small team here. Some of us focus on the North Andaman trips while others handle the local sightseeing around Port Blair. We’ve been in Firdos Manzil for quite some time now. We know the rhythms of the town, like when the shops close and when the traffic is worst. We don't use any fancy sales talk; we just tell people what is possible and what isn't based on the current ferry schedules. It’s a busy place to work, but we like being in the middle of everything.
