Mk World Travels

Our place is at 46 Dr Diwan Singh Gurudwara Lane. It's a busy little spot in Port Blair. We've been here a long time. People know us by the name Mk World Travels. We don't do much advertising, mostly people just walk in or call us. We handle a lot of the local transport stuff. If someone needs a van for their family, they come to us. The lane is narrow, so it's best to come on foot if you're just visiting. I grew up around here, so I know every corner of this town. We help with the boat tickets to Havelock or Neil. It gets busy during the season, but we manage. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight for a bit. It’s not a big corporate setup. We just have a few people working the phones. We try to be honest about the prices because everyone knows everyone here. We don't like to overcomplicate things. You tell us where you want to go and we see if we can get you a seat. The office is tucked away, but we like it that way. It stays a bit quieter than the main road. Most days we are just sorting out papers and talking to drivers. It’s a steady life. We’ve seen the islands change a lot over the years, but we’re still here at the same address in 744101. It’s just us doing our thing.
