Lks Tours & Travels is located in Bathubasti. We are right near the Range Office, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a busy part of Port Blair. My uncle started the business and now I’m running it with my brother. We have a few drivers who have been with us for a long time. They know the roads like the back of their hands. We do a lot of the airport pickups. When the flights land in the morning, we are usually there waiting with signs. It’s a lot of back and forth, but it keeps us on our toes. The office isn't much, just a room with some maps on the wall and a desk. We handle the ferry bookings and hotel stays for people who don't want to do it themselves. We’ve lived in Bathubasti our whole lives. We see the same people every day at the tea shop nearby. We don’t put on any acts. We just tell people the truth about how long it takes to get to places like Wandoor or Chidiyatapu. The roads can be bumpy, so we make sure our vehicles are in decent shape. It’s a straightforward business. We just help folks get around while they are visiting 744101. We keep it simple and try to stay organized with our notebooks and pens. It’s been a good way to earn a living so far.
