Lagoon Travelaid

We’ve been here in Haddo for quite a while now, just running Lagoon Travelaid out of our small spot in Port Blair. It is usually pretty busy around here with the ships coming in and out. Most days, we just help people figure out how to get from one island to another without too much trouble. Living in the 744102 area means we see a lot of folks passing through our doors. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when the weather changes or the ferries are delayed, but that’s just how it is here. We aren't a big office with fancy computers or anything. It’s mostly just us answering phones and writing things down in our books. If someone needs a car to get across town or wants to know which beach is quiet today, we tell them what we know. The roads here can be a bit bumpy, and sometimes the internet goes out, but we make it work regardless. We spend a lot of time talking to the drivers and making sure things are lined up. It’s a simple business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just about getting folks where they need to go in the Andamans. Some days are long, especially in the heat, but we like being near the water. We grew up around these parts, so we know the shortcuts and the places that aren't on the maps. It is home for us.
