You can find United Farmers Harvest Private Limited over at No.3/17 on Kamarajar Salai. It is a busy road and there is always something going on outside our door. We are a small group that deals with the harvest side of things. It started because a few of us realized we could do more if we worked together instead of trying to handle everything on our own separate plots. Kamarajar Salai is a good spot because people can find us easily when they are coming through town. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and figuring out which trucks go where. It is not always organized perfectly, but the crops don't wait for anyone, so we move fast when we have to. The office is usually a bit messy with notes and samples of grain or whatever is in season. We don't really have a receptionist or anything. If you walk in, you just talk to whoever is sitting there at the time. We know the local land well and we know the people who work it. It is just a practical business for us. We want to see the harvest get where it needs to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the traffic on the Salai makes things slow, but we are used to it by now. It is just part of living and working here.
