We’ve been here at Kalitheerthal Kuppam for a while now. The building is at 89 /9b, right near Madagadipet. It gets pretty hot in Pondicherry during the summers, but we just keep working through it. We handle a lot of chemical stuff. Usually, the trucks come in early morning to unload. It's not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we get things done. Some of us have been working here since the start. There are always barrels around and the smell of industrial materials. It’s part of the job. Most days are busy with paperwork and checking the inventory lists. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait it out. It's a local operation, nothing too big. People around the post office know where we are. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment arrives, the whole place gets a bit crowded. It’s just how it goes in this line of work. We mostly deal with other businesses. There’s no big sign or anything flashy outside. Just the name Nathanz Chemicals on the gate. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we’re always cleaning. It’s a steady routine. We know the neighbors and they know us. That’s how it is at our spot in Madagadipet. We just focus on the chemicals and making sure the orders are ready on time for the drivers.
