We are located at 04 Kadai Street in Pallipattu. It’s right in the heart of the area, and Kadai Street is usually pretty lively. If you’re coming through Pondicherry, you’ll find that Pallipattu has its own distinct rhythm. Our office is a small place right on the street. It’s a very humble setup, with just the essentials. We have a couple of desks, some plastic chairs for when people visit, and stacks of ledgers and documents. The front door stays open most of the time to let in some air, so we hear everything that goes on outside, from the vegetable sellers to the school kids walking past. It’s a very grounded place to work. We don’t have a big staff, so it’s usually just one or two of us handling the daily tasks. The walls have some old calendars on them, and the space is a bit cramped, but we make it work. It’s easy for the local farmers to find us since we’re right there on the main path through the village area. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who stop by or filling out forms. It’s not a polished environment, and we like it that way because it feels more like part of the community. Everything we need is right here in this little spot on Kadai Street. It’s just our regular daily workplace where we keep things moving along.
