Tata D.S.A is located here in Patna, specifically at Raja Bazar. We are inside the place of Mr. Hari Nandan Singh, right opposite the petrol pump. It is a landmark that everyone in this part of town knows. Being near the B.V. College post office makes it easy to explain where we are to people. The road outside is always full of activity. You hear the horns and the people shouting all day long. Inside, it is a bit more sheltered. The building has that old Patna feel to it. Gorakh Lal handles things here. We have some old wooden tables and some newer plastic chairs. The light is okay but we usually keep the tube lights on. Raja Bazar is a crowded place so getting here can take a while if you are coming from the station. We don't have any big lobby or reception desk. It is just an office where work happens. We keep the files in stacks and try to keep the dust off the keyboards. The tea seller across the street knows our order by now. It is just a regular daily routine for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It is a very human way to spend the work day. We appreciate the shade of the building when the Bihar sun gets too intense. There is usually someone around to help if you are looking for the entrance.
