Sun Shine Residential Public School

We are located right off NH 30 in the Maner area of Patna. It’s a residential school, so there’s always someone around, even in the middle of the night. The highway is right there, so you can always hear the trucks going by, but you get used to it after a week or two. The building is a big blocky thing that gets plenty of sun. Since the kids live here, the dorms are always a bit of a mess with clothes and books everywhere. We try to keep it neat, but they’re kids. The dining hall is the busiest place on the grounds, especially when the food is actually good that day. We have a few trees around the yard where students sit during their breaks. It’s not a luxury resort; it’s a school in Patna. The floors are hard and the walls have some cracks here and there, but everything works. We have a small staff that does a bit of everything, from teaching to fixing the plumbing. You’ll see the principal walking around in sandals most of the time. It’s a practical place for families who need their kids to stay on campus. We don't use big words to describe ourselves. We just provide a place to sleep and a place to learn. It’s a long day for everyone, but we make it work.
