Subham Gents Parlour

Subham Gents Parlour is right on the Main Road in Mokama, which is part of the Patna district but feels like its own world. It is a small place for men to get a shave or a haircut. Being on the Main Road means we see everything that happens in town. From the tractors passing by to the school kids, it is always busy outside. Inside, we have the old-style chairs that lean back for a shave. It is a simple place where men come to talk about politics or the weather while they wait their turn. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the usual fans and the sound of the radio playing in the background. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby in Mokama 803302. They come in for a quick trim or a beard shave before going to work. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping down the glass and the counters.
