Anugrah Narayan Singh College

Down in Barh, which is a bit of a way from the main Patna city center, you’ll find our college. Anugrah Narayan Singh College is an old name around here in Bihar. The campus is spread out, and the buildings have that weathered look that comes from decades of use and the Bihar weather. It’s a place where students from the 803213 area and beyond come for their degrees. It’s often quite crowded, especially near the administrative blocks where everyone is trying to get their forms stamped. We have a lot of history here, but we don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just where we work. The canteen is usually the loudest part of the college, full of students drinking tea and debating things. We have a staff that has seen many generations of students pass through these gates. It’s not a polished, modern campus with glass walls; it’s brick and stone and a lot of tradition. The walk from the main road can be long, but there are always rickshaws moving back and forth. We deal with the usual college stuff—schedules, exams, and the occasional protest or celebration. It’s a real place for real people who want to get their education without any unnecessary fuss. We just keep the doors open and the classes running as they should. It’s just what happens here in Barh every single day of the week. There is always something going on.
