Star Salon

Star Salon is on Baripath in the Machuatoli neighborhood of Patna. It is a place that has been here for many years. We are not hard to find if you are familiar with this part of the city. The street outside is always full of life and noise, which is how Patna usually is. Inside the shop, things are kept very basic and simple. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, some combs, and our scissors. We spend most of our time here, starting early in the morning. The walls have some old posters that have been there forever. We do not really care about having a modern look. It is more about being a place where a person can just sit down and get a haircut without any trouble. Many of the people who come in have been our customers for a long time. We know their families and what is going on in their lives. It is a local spot. The ceiling fans stay on all day to keep the air moving. Sometimes we sit and have tea while we wait for someone to walk in. It is not a big business, just a small shop run by people from the area. We do our best with every customer. If you are walking down Machuatoli Baripath, you will see us. It is a humble setup but it works for the people around here. We like the way things are in this part of town.
